Site Number: sci-site009, Brief History: Unknown, Local Tradition Associated With Building--Structure--Site: Darshan, General Remarks: Neighboring shrine is a mish-mash of numerous sculptures plastered in the walls, Architectural Style: Rock temple, Description Of The Building--Structure--Site: Panchaganesha is an old rock shrine with two well-sculpted pillars. It is an old structure which has been tiled and gated. Other three shrines seem to be newer additions to the temple which were constructed to house images., Location: Pancaganesha Mandir is west of 16 padas. -- Hanuman and neighboring temples are located northeast of the Main Temple and north of 16 padas --, Approach: Through Chand Chaura or -- north from Brahmasaror --, Topographical Features: Top of the Mundaprishta hill on the western bank of the Phalgu, across from the Sita Kunda, Building-Structural Material And Other: Stone brick tiles, Usage: Active worship and darshan, Ownership: Vishnupada Prabandhakarini Samiti Ilake Chaudahasaiya Gayapala -- current head of committee is Shankaralala Pathak (Ghadiwala), Protection Status: Well protected, Present Condition: Maintained, Conservation Assessment: Good, Vishnu: I. Indra Mandir. Inside: 1. Vishnu, 40" -- North wall: 1. Narasimha -- South: 1. Vishnu -- Northern wall of courtyard next to new large space for rituals: 1. dasavatara, 6"x48", 2. two vishnus, 24" -- Corner: 1. Vishnu, 18" --, Shiva: I. Pancaganesha Temple: 1. five ganeshas of differing sizes. II. Indra Mandir. Inside: 1. Maheshvara, 48", 2. linga, five-headed, 3. two Ganesha -- North wall: 1. Uma-Maheshvara -- South: 1.
